Websites receive thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of hits per day, but very few companies truly understand what is generating this traffic.
What is convergence modelling?
It is a way of understanding or explaining what is driving traffic to a website.
How does it work?
We look at a company's marketing activity regardless of which media channels they are utilising, from online, facebook, press advertising and TV, to the more peripheral touch points such as petrol pumps, underground tickets and even PR and corporate sponsorship. From this information we build a series of models which will determine the key drivers of web traffic.
What else can it do?
As well as web visits, we can look at what is driving sales, repeat visits, length of stay and visits to particular web pages.
